Last updated: May 21, 2026

Who we are

Wills From Home (willsfromhome.law) is a service of Lowcountry Legal Solutions, LLC. Limited-scope legal services are provided by Blair Streitenberger, Esq., a South Carolina licensed attorney.

This policy describes how we collect and use information when you visit our website or use our online document intake and ordering service. It does not replace the Limited Scope Engagement Agreement you accept at checkout.

Information we collect

Depending on how you use the site, we may collect:

  • Contact information (name, email, phone, mailing address)
  • Information you enter in our document wizards (estate and healthcare preferences, agents, beneficiaries, and related details)
  • Payment-related information processed by Stripe (we do not store full card numbers on our servers)
  • Order status, conflict-check outcomes, consent records, and delivery-related data
  • Communications you send to us (for example, email to support or replies related to your order)
  • Basic technical data such as browser type, device information, and pages visited (see Cookies and advertising below)

How we use information

We use your information to:

  • Operate the website and process your order
  • Perform conflict checks and limited-scope attorney review of your documents
  • Prepare, deliver, and support revision or delivery workflows for your documents
  • Send transactional emails (order confirmations, attorney review updates, delivery codes, and related notices)
  • Respond to your requests and comply with applicable legal and professional obligations

We do not sell your personal information. We use information only as needed to provide the service you request under limited-scope representation.

Service providers

We use trusted third-party providers to host the site, process payments, store data, send email, and store generated documents. These may include, among others:

  • Stripe (payment processing)
  • Hosting and application infrastructure (for example, Vercel)
  • Database services (for order and client data)
  • Email delivery (for example, Resend)
  • Secure document storage (cloud object storage)

These providers process information on our behalf under their own terms and privacy practices, and only as needed to deliver the service.

Cookies and advertising

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies. When enabled for production, we use Google Ads measurement (Google tag / gtag) to understand how visitors find and use our marketing pages and to measure advertising performance. You do not need an account to browse public pages such as the home page, About, FAQ, or Documents.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect some site features but generally does not prevent you from reading public content.

Retention

Client-related records may be retained for up to six (6) years where required or permitted under the South Carolina Rules of Professional Conduct (including Rule 1.15), consistent with our Limited Scope Engagement Agreement. Other technical logs may be kept for shorter periods needed for security and operations.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage over the Internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

This service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the current version. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
